GreenTeaTokyo recently set up a matcha tea experience booth at the Japan Go IPO Summit, an international business conference held at a hotel in Roppongi, Tokyo.
A Matcha Experience Booth at an International Conference
The venue brought together companies and professionals from Japan and abroad, and we set up our matcha experience booth right in the middle of it.
Our instructor wore kimono throughout the event, adding a distinctly Japanese atmosphere to the booth.
Guests took part in a hands-on experience, whisking their own matcha with a chasen (bamboo whisk) and enjoying it alongside a Japanese sweet.
Designed for Overseas Guests Too
As an international conference, the event drew many attendees from outside Japan.
We brought English-speaking staff to guide guests through the experience, so language was never a barrier.
Whisking and tasting matcha firsthand gave guests a way to connect with Japanese culture that went beyond words.
