Our instructor will demonstrate and provide attentive guidance. After practicing on regular paper, you’ll create your final piece on shikishi (decorative cardboard) to take home.
Experience Flow
1. Choose Your Character
Decide what you’d like to write—your favorite kanji, a meaningful word, your name, or anything you wish.
2. Instructor Demonstration
Our instructor will create a sample for you on the spot.
3. Practice on Paper
Practice as many times as you like using regular paper.

4. Final Work on Shikishi
Transfer your practiced skill to shikishi to complete your artwork.
